Things That Are Banned in School

Great Google Docs presentation from Lisa Nielsen.

The Innovative Educator: Banned in School:

An essential element for 21st century learning is thinking outside the ban, however, many schools fail to do this banning the very items that are crucial to success in the world. Qwiki - Intelligent, Interactive Search

I've been exploring QWiki - sort of a talking search engine.

Here's how they describe themselves:
We've all seen science fiction films (or read novels) where computers are able to collect data on behalf of humans, and present the most important details. This is our goal at Qwiki- to advance information technology to the point it acts human

Here's a Qwiki on George Orwell and another on the Beatles. The voice over is a little buggy, but I see a lot of potential.

Clever story told using a Möbius strip.
